At this time of year, life can feel very full, busy and hectic as we race towards Christmas. And it can sometimes feel as if we don’t have enough time to stop, look up and be present. It can be easy to forget the thread of joy running through life; to slow down and reconnect to ourselves and other people. We hope that our Christmas celebration is a space in which to enjoy and share time together with old friends and new in a warm, welcoming space. We really hope that you can come along and join us. You’ll find us celebrating at Sunrise on Wednesday 14th December from 5.30pm onwards.

Looking into the New Year, our Celebration of Diversity evening is at the Plough on Friday 3rd February at 8pm and tickets are selling fast. We hope this event will light up this dark winter’s night with uplifting music, dance and poetry, performed by many talented, creative people of different backgrounds from across Northern Devon, along with inspiring words from Satish Kumar.  We are fundraising for our annual Diversity Festival on Saturday 8 July through this event. So in coming along, you are helping to create a wonderful festival day in the warm, sunny days of summer. (We can but hope!)

Lastly, we’re going to be shut over the Christmas break from Friday 22nd December until Tuesday 3rd January. If you need to get hold of us urgently, please email as we will be checking in now and again.

In the meantime, wishing you all a peaceful and restful time over the Christmas season, and much joy and blessings for the year to come.
With all good wishes from Naomi and the Sunrise team
